As the Fourth of July approaches, the Tri-Cities will light up with fireworks, barbecues, and family gatherings. At Momentum Real Estate Group, we love seeing our community come together to celebrate—but we also want everyone to stay safe while enjoying the holiday weekend.

Whether you're hosting at home, heading to the lake, or catching a local fireworks show, here are a few quick reminders to help keep your property and loved ones protected:

1. Firework Safety
If you're lighting fireworks at home, make sure you’re following all local laws. Keep fireworks away from houses, dry grass, and flammable materials. Always have a hose or bucket of water nearby.

Pro Tip: Consider attending a professional fireworks show instead of lighting your own!

2. Grill Responsibly
Backyard cookouts are a Fourth of July tradition! Remember to keep your grill at least 10 feet away from your house, deck railings, and overhanging branches. Never leave the grill unattended while in use.

3. Pet Precautions
Fireworks can be stressful for pets. Make sure your furry friends are safely indoors and have a quiet space away from the noise. Update their ID tags just in case they get spooked and run off.

4. Travel Smart
If you’re hitting the road, give yourself plenty of time and expect holiday traffic. Stay alert and never drive under the influence.

5. Home Safety While Away
Leaving town for the weekend? Double-check that doors and windows are locked. Set lights on timers to make your home look occupied, and ask a neighbor to keep an eye on things.

From all of us at Momentum Real Estate Group, have a fun, memorable, and safe Fourth of July weekend! 🇺🇸

If you’re thinking about buying or selling after the holiday buzz settles down, we’re just a call or message away.
